De Gamle Stier i Ågerup - The Old Trails in Aagerup
I den gamle del af Ågerup er et net af grusstier mellem gårde og huse. Gå en tur rundt og nyd at de stadig er der.

Stierne i den gamle del af Ågerup ligger på resterne af den gamle fællesjord, som oprindelig var på 3 tdr. land (=16.500 m2 = 1,7 ha) og lå mellem gårde og huse, afgrænset af stendiger, krat og hegn, så husdyrene frit kunne gå rundt.
Den åbne brug af fællesjorden blev langsomt ændret. I starten af 1900-tallet blev der bygget veje og hegnet rundt om landsbyen blev opløst.

Turforslag: Parker på pladsen foran kirken på Ågerupvej. Gå ad Ågerupvej til ”Smøgen”, hvor boksen med stifolderen findes. Gå ad Smøgen, Snæversti, ad Krogager til Kirkestien, forbi Havehøjgård (med gravhøjen i haven) og rundt om præstegårdshaven. På hjørnet er en bænk med udsigt til Roskilde Domkirke. Gå mellem Sognegården og kirken til Kirkevænget. Tilbage ad Snæversti eller gå over kirkegården til P-pladsen. Alternativt: gå tilbage til P-pladsen ad grusvejen på vestsiden af kirken.

In the old part of Aagerup there is a network of gravel paths between farms and houses. Go for a walk and enjoy the fact that they are still there. You will find a box of leaflets where Smoegen is adjacent to Aagerupvej.

The trails in the old part of Aagerup are located on the remains of the old common ground, originally 3,300 square feet (= 16,500 m2 = 1,7 ha) and lay between farms and houses, bounded by stalks, crates and fences, so that the livestock free to walk around. The open use of the common ground was slowly changed. In the early 1900s roads were built and the fence around the village was removed.

Tour suggestions: Park in the square in front of the church on Aagerupvej. Go right on Aagerupvej to "Smoegen" where the box with the lieflet is located. Go by Smoegen, Snaevresti, via Krogager to Kirkestien, past "Garden borrow farm" (with the ancient burial mound in the garden) and around the rectory garden. On the corner there is a bench overlooking Roskilde Cathedral in the distance. Walk between Sognegaarden and the church to Kirkevaenget. Back by the narrow path or cross the cemetery to the parking lot. Alternatively, go back to the parking lot along the gravel road on the west side of the church.
